Pengana announces Axiom Investors
Pengana Capital Group Limited (ASX: PCG) is pleased to advise the appointment of Connecticut-based Axiom Investors as the new investment team for the following funds:
- Pengana International Ethical Fund
- Pengana International Fund – Ethical Opportunity
Axiom Investors is a highly-regarded global equity manager, managing over US$19bn of investments on behalf of some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated investors (including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, large pension funds, and family offices). Their investment approach targeting ‘Dynamic Growth’ has generated significant outperformance over the strategy’s 17-year track record.
Model portfolio historical track record:
As at 31 March 2021. The Pengana Axiom International Ethical Fund and Pengana Axiom International Ethical Fund (Hedged) (Pengana Funds) have the same investment strategy as the Axiom Investors Global Equity Strategy except that the Pengana Funds have an ethical screen, will be denominated in Australian Dollars, and the foreign currency exposure of the Pengana Axiom International Ethical Fund (Hedged) will be hedged back to Australian dollars. In addition, the Pengana Funds will have a management fee of 1.35% per annum. All of these factors will influence the performance of the Pengana Funds. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
In line with the appointment, the funds are to be renamed, respectively:
- Pengana Axiom International Ethical Fund
- Pengana Axiom International Ethical Fund (Hedged)
Both funds will be invested in companies that are dynamically growing and changing for the better, more rapidly than generally expected; and where the positive changes are not yet reflected in expectations or valuation. The strategy concentrates its investments in global developed markets and may also invest in companies located in emerging markets.
