WHEB wins Impact Manager of the Year at the LAPF Investment Awards 2021
WHEB Asset Management has won ‘Impact Manager of the Year’ at the LAPF Investment Awards 2021.
WHEB is a global leader in sustainable investing with a focus on the opportunities created by the transition to more sustainable, resource-efficient, and energy-efficient economies.
WHEB is the investment team for the Pengana WHEB Sustainable Impact Fund, with a focus on investing in companies which produce goods and services that provide a positive environmental and social impact.
The portfolio is actively managed and stock selection is based on deep research integrating financial factors with environmental, social and governance factors.
The judges’ comment was “WHEB has shown excellence in positive impact investing and has a clear understanding of the needs of LGPS investors.”
The LAPF Investments Awards were established in 2015 in order to celebrate outstanding achievements in the Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS). Over the years, an award from LAPF Investments Awards has come to be recognised as a mark of excellence in the field of pensions provision in the LGPS.
