The Pengana WHEB Sustainable Impact Fund has won the “Best Ethical Overseas Fund” at the 2023 Mindful Money Ethical and Impact Investment Awards.
During the assessment process, the judges were looking for an overseas investment fund actively marketed within New Zealand, that is able to demonstrate the best ethical investment outcomes.
The Pengana WHEB Sustainable Impact Fund showed a mature approach and analytical rigour in its policies and practices, raising the bar for domestic funds.
“The judges were impressed by the framework for stewardship and avoiding harmful investments, including cases where a lack of progress has resulted in divestment. The fund sets a high standard for reporting on the positive impact from companies in their portfolio, along with excellent communications to financial advisers and clients..”
